Our chickens are sourced from small local farmers, which means each bird is naturally unique. Size, shape, color, firmness, fat content, and overall appearance may vary from one chicken to another. This product is sold per whole chicken and not by exact weight. Because the chickens are farm sourced and naturally raised, weights may vary and are not guaranteed to be the same for every order. Product may contain bones, skin, natural fat, cartilage, and other normal poultry parts. Some chickens may also contain small traces of blood, natural discoloration, or slight variations in texture, which are normal for fresh poultry. This is a raw poultry product and must be handled safely. Keep refrigerated or frozen until ready to cook. Do not consume raw or undercooked. Cook thoroughly before eating. To reduce the risk of cross-contamination, keep raw poultry separate from other foods, wash hands, utensils, and surfaces after handling, and follow safe food preparation practices.
