Community Guidelines
Effective May 23, 2026
Njuru is a community of makers and people who care about how things are made. These guidelines exist so that everyone here feels welcome, safe, and inspired.
What we expect
Be kind. Be honest. Be curious about other people's work. Disagreements happen, but stay respectful.
Reviews should be honest, specific, and based on your actual experience. Stories of a great or disappointing order are exactly what other shoppers need.
When you contact a seller, give them the courtesy of a real question. Sellers reply faster to friendly messages.
What we won't allow
- Harassment, threats, or hate speech of any kind
- Doxxing or sharing private information without consent
- Promotion of self-harm, violence, or illegal activity
- Spam, scams, or attempts to redirect transactions off Njuru
- Buying, selling, or trading reviews
- Impersonating another seller, employee, or brand
How we enforce
We use a combination of automated signals (fraud scoring, content classifiers) and human review. We escalate quickly when safety is at stake. Decisions can be appealed by emailing trust@njuru.com.
Report something
If you see content or behavior that breaks these guidelines, report it from the listing, profile, or message thread. Our trust and safety team reads every report.
Thank you for helping us keep Njuru a place worth being on.
