Pick a cause, once
A shopper or a business chooses a nonprofit from Njuru's verified list, or nominates a specific 501(c)(3) by name and EIN. Njuru verifies a nominated organization before any donations start flowing to it. The choice is saved and applies automatically going forward.
How the money adds up
At checkout, a purchase rounds up to the next dollar, and the difference goes to the shopper's chosen cause. Businesses can separately choose to give a percentage of their own sales. Both paths accrue through the year and show up as a running total on the nonprofit's Njuru Gives page.
No fee on charitable amounts
This is the part worth being explicit about: Njuru takes no platform fee on donation amounts. What gets rounded up or given is what reaches the nonprofit, in full, on a yearly disbursement with a giving statement for the shopper's or business's own records.
For nonprofits: partnering costs nothing
A verified organization gets a public page with its mission, cause tags, and a live running total, plus an embeddable badge it can post on its own site linking back to that page. There is no fee to join and no fee on what comes through.
