This Cookie Policy applies to technooptics.com and to the websites and apps of the Njuru group, including Advottic, Rolls & Digs, Optics Studio, and Optics Capital, except where a particular product publishes its own cookie notice for product-specific reasons.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is being used. Similar technologies , including localStorage, sessionStorage, and first-party pixels, are treated the same way under this Policy.
2. Categories of cookies we use
We group cookies and similar technologies into three categories:
Essential
Required for the Services to function. These are set automatically and cannot be turned off without breaking the site. Examples include cookies that remember your cookie preferences themselves, that protect against cross-site request forgery, and that keep a session secure.
Analytics (optional)
Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it , for example which pages are popular and how the navigation flows. These cookies are set only after you give consent through the cookie banner or the “Manage cookies” link in the footer. They do not identify you personally.
Marketing (optional)
We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If we ever introduce them, we will list them here and ask for your consent first.
3. Specific cookies and storage we set
- tooptics_consent, first-party
localStorageentry that records your cookie preferences so we don’t need to ask again on every visit. Essential. Stored for 12 months. - tooptics_session, first-party session cookie used only when you sign into a member-only area, if any. Essential. Cleared when you close the browser.
- Bella conversation state, held in memory only while the chat panel is open and discarded when the page is closed.
We’ll update this list whenever we add or remove a cookie. If you notice a cookie set by our site that isn’t listed here, please tell us at privacy@njuru.com.
4. Managing your preferences
You can change your preferences at any time using the “Manage cookies” link in the site footer. You can also clear cookies directly from your browser; see the help pages for Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge.
We also respect the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal and standard browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) headers. When we detect either, we treat optional cookies as opted-out by default.
5. Third-party cookies
Where any optional cookie is set by a third party that helps us deliver the Services, we list that party in our Privacy Policy. Third-party cookies are also governed by the privacy policies of the parties that set them.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove cookies or when the law requires. Material changes will be communicated through the cookie banner.
